Cancer Cytogenetics Studies at the Breen Lab (North Carolina State University)

Dr. Matthew Breen is the world's foremost authority on canine and feline cancer cytogenetics. His lab is currently conducting studies in collaboration with us, and also independently. His lab especially needs samples from dogs with lymphoma, osteosarcoma, and hemangiosarcoma (these are shared with our lab - go here for more information), as well as soft tissue sarcomas and histiocytic sarcomas. Among the breeds that are especially valuable for these studies are Flat Coated Retrievers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Labrador Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, Briards, German Shepherd Dogs, Border Collies, Poodles, and Australian Shepherds.
